Job Description:

This position provides mission-critical sales support to the Eastern Regional Sales Team to help drive revenue to key advertisers. It supports the sales team by creating sales proposals which allow us to effectively leverage all of Captivate’s resources and core capabilities and deliver solutions to clients. It also facilitates the fulfillment of advertising campaigns with the Traffic Team. This role helps manage the functions and systems of this busy regional sales office to keep it running smoothly and may lead to a sales position for the right individual.

Key Tasks:
  • Respond to RFPs and help resolve problems:
    1. 1. Mapping
      2. Tenant Database Pulls
      3. Campaign Planning /Inventory Pricing through Internal Custom systems (Pivotal)
      4. Support the Presales Process
      5. Insight Development (TNS, Q2, BBM, IMS)
  • Contribute creative ideas to RFPs with sales, sales development and other Captivate teams to create compelling stories and determine the appropriate solution content / events / services.
  • Collaborate with Captivate’s and client’s creative and traffic teams to develop campaign themes.
  • Process data and generate sales forecasts, sales analyses, campaign effectiveness reports, etc.
  • Support sales teams and sales management to identify sales opportunities.

  • Deliver exceptional customer service and foster open communication between all stakeholders.
  • Maintain records of sales order status.
  • Receive order data from sales teams; verify order accuracy, completeness and compliance with Captivate capabilities and standards.
  • Track campaign billing to ensure deliverables met client expectations and contract terms.
  • Work with the Sales Development Team when / where needed.
Requirements:
  • A bachelor’s degree plus at least 2 years of relevant support experience in a marketing, advertising or an appropriate sales environment and that demonstrate a detail oriented, highly organized working style.
  • Experience coordinating complex advertising campaigns with knowledge of digital place based media preferred.
  • Strong skills using Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and www research.
  • Strong analysis skills, great communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • The ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and work both independently and collaboratively in a deadline driven, sometimes even exciting environment.
  • An enthusiastic, professional, can-do attitude that can interact effectively at all levels.
